The Calm Brothers There were four winds and they were all brothers, the two calmest were Zephyr and Eurus. They were not called apon by the gods because they were not capable of major destruction. - Zephyr Zephyr was not as calm as Eurus but he could clear the sky of clouds. Zephyr would make all of nature smile when he started to blow. Zephyr, the west wind Lived on the osland of Thrace. He is the son of Eos and Aeolus. He is also considerded to be the god of the rainbow. Zephyr is the proud father of Eros and Pothos. - Eurus Eurus is the East wind. Eurus is the son of Eos and Aelous. Eurus is the calmest of the four winds. Eurus was rarely called upon by the gods. When he wa scalled upon he brought warm raine from the east. He had wings and had a vase that he held water in. These brothers wwere the most pleasent to be around. They were capable of good and no bad.
