The Beautiful Geography Greece is a peninsula in the Mediterranean Sea. Greece is not easy to grow crops on, and it is very mountainous. The story of the winds takes place on an island. One of the winds lived on the island of Thrace. Thrace is suronded by three seas, the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea, and the Sea of Marmara. The Greek wind Zephyr is belived to live on Thrace, but all the other winds and Aelous lived on an island off the coast of Sicily. Historians are not exactly sure of where this island was but they are sure that it was off the coast of Sicily. The island that this story takes place on is of the coast of Sicily, in the Mediterranean Sea. The island with the cave that the story takes place in has a very mild climate. The climate in the spring is around 60 degrees. The temperature in the fall is usually the same as the spring. In the winter the temperature is about 30 degrees. In the summer the weather is about 70 degrees. This island gets a decent amount of rain all year around. The island that the story of the winds takes place on is very beautiful. The island of the coast of Sicily has many mountains and vegatation. The island that this story takes place on is a perfect match for the story of the winds because Aelous kept the winds in a cave on a mountain. Since there are lots of mountains on the island there is also lots of caves.
